Mehr als knapp 40-50 Meter bergauf geht es insgesamt gemäß Zeittabelle nicht, also erneut ein Zeitfahren für die Spezialisten. Wobei sich erfahrungsgemäß gegen Ende einer solchen Rundfahrt die Klassement-Fahrer (man denke an 2004 mit Santi Perez, Heras, Mancebo, Sastre, Garcia Quesada, L.Perez etc.) auch gerne mal weit vorne plazieren...
Start des letzten Fahrers der Gesamtwertung um 16:56 Uhr. Der Erste sollte ursprünglich um 14 Uhr starten, aber dafür sind wohl zuviele ausgestiegen. Die Top20 starten mit Abstand von 2 Minuten, davor sind es 60 Sekunden.
Erwartete Fahrzeit: Knapp 24 Minuten...will Evans morgen die knapp 50 Sekunden aufholen, muss er ca. 3% schneller als Sastre fahren. Bei einem Schnitt von 50 km/h sind das 1,5 km/h mehr, kein leichtes Unterfangen.

1,5 km mehr die evans braucht kann ja wohl nicht sein...... wie du selber auch anmerkst wird der kilometer im schnitt in ca. 1.12 gefahren werden...... das heisst ca 800 m vorsprung reichen.
